AT&T Yellow Pages Directory Delivery Begins in Kansas City

AT&T Yellow Pages Directory Delivery Begins in Kansas City

Recycle Old Phone Books Through Project ReDirectory

Kansas City, Missouri, December 28, 2006

The latest AT&T Yellow Pages directory serving Kansas City is headed your way. More than 1.4 million copies of the book will serve area residences, businesses and government offices.

The cover of the new edition features Augustine Exterminators and the Arthritis Foundation.

In addition to the classified Yellow Pages section, the new directory contains business and government White Pages listings; money-saving coupons; information guides; and a Community Living section with area maps, attractions, ZIP codes and other helpful information.

It's estimated that the Yellow Pages directories serving the Kansas City area are referenced about 200,000 times each day. The AT&T Yellow Pages, which dates back more than 100 years, is the original directory in the area.

For those who let their fingers do the clicking, the AT&T online Yellow Pages is available at YELLOWPAGES.COM. The site offers consumers access to comprehensive local business information, the latest business listings, city guides, maps and driving directions. In addition, YELLOWPAGES.COM advertisers receive exposure on Switchboard, AOL Yellow Pages, Yahoo!® Yellow Pages, Yahoo! Local and AnyWho.com — all leading Yellow Pages sites.

Complementing the regular-sized AT&T Yellow Pages is a mini version that contains the ads and money-saving coupons of area businesses that chose to advertise in it as well as in the traditional directory. The smaller book is designed to be more portable for on-the-go consumers and to deliver more calls and return on investment to advertisers.

Additional copies of the print directory can be ordered by calling AT&T Yellow Pages at (800) 792-2665.

For more information on the print directory or YELLOWPAGES.COM, please call the Kansas City AT&T Yellow Pages sales office at (913) 661-5400.

To recycle your old phone books, please call the AT&T Yellow Pages Project ReDirectory help line at (800) 953-4400 for specific recycling information in your community.

Directories are recycled into such products as paper towels, bathroom tissue, insulation, animal bedding and paper for new phone books.
