CUPERTINO, California—August 24, 2001—Apple® today announced that starting tomorrow customers can purchase the award-winning Titanium PowerBook® G4 starting at $2,199 for the 400 MHz model and $2,999 for the 500 MHz model, a price drop of $400 and $500 respectively.
