THE COCA-COLA COMPANY ELECTS SIX OFFICERS

The Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company today elected Ed Gadsden, Carolyn Jackson, Esther Lee, Vicki Lostetter, Marc Mathieu and Marie Quintero as corporate vice presidents.
Ed Gadsden is group director, Global Human Resources Strategy and Planning, where he is responsible for workplace fairness initiatives and global HR processes such as employee engagement, career development and Task Force administration. Prior to joining the Company in 2000, Mr. Gadsden held several roles of increasing responsibility at Texaco, including corporate director, Global HR and Executive Staffing. Prior to that, he held various executive human resource positions with Johnson & Johnson, Digital Equipment Corporation, Advance Technology, Inc., Tektronix and Potomac Electric Power Company. Mr. Gadsden has a bachelor's degree in political science/African-American Studies from Towson State University.
Carolyn Jackson is vice president, Human Resources, Coca-Cola North America. Prior to her current role, Ms. Jackson was vice president, Organization Planning and People Development for the Company account team for McDonald's. She joined the Company in 1985 and progressed through a number of key Human Resources assignments in North America and Corporate, including human resources director for Finance, Information Systems, Human Resources and Technical and HR director for the Global Marketing Division. In 1999, she was named vice president, Human Resources, for the Company's Schweppes Beverages division in London. Ms. Jackson has a bachelor's degree in social science and a master's degree in labor and industrial relations from Michigan State University.
As chief creative officer, Esther Lee oversees advertising development for all brands in North America as well as creative idea development across the world. Her responsibilities also encompass graphics and visual identity and all other creative expressions of the Company's brands. Prior to joining the Company in 2002, Ms. Lee was principal and director of strategic and business planning for DiNoto Lee, a full-service marketing and advertising agency that she co-founded in 1997. During her 20-year career, Ms. Lee has held many positions of increasing responsibility, including senior vice president and account director at J. Walter Thompson and executive vice president and director of Agency Development and Client Services at Deutsch Advertising. Ms. Lee has a bachelor's degree in arts and sciences from Cornell University.
Vicki Lostetter is group director, Talent Strategies, where she is responsible for leadership development, employee data systems and the plans and practices by which the Company hires, assesses, develops and rewards employees across the business. Prior to joining the Company in 2000, Ms. Lostetter spent 13 years with Honeywell International, most recently as group director, Human Resources, for the Specialty Chemicals business. During her tenure at Honeywell, she served in various human resource, organization development, employee relations and compensation leadership roles in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Prior to her time at Honeywell, Ms. Lostetter also worked for Gelco Corporation and Cargill, Inc., in human resource and sales capacities. Ms. Lostetter has a bachelor's degree in financial management and accounting from the College of St. Thomas (Minn.).
Marc Mathieu manages the Coca-Cola Franchise within Corporate Marketing, where he oversees marketing for the Coca-Cola trademark brands. Prior to this role, Mr. Mathieu was the division president of the France and Benelux Division, where he had operational responsibilities for France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Mr. Mathieu joined the Company in 1996 as deputy division president, Philippines Division. Following a subsequent region management role in Asia, he was named region manager for the Benelux Region in 1999. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Mathieu worked for 13 years with the Danone Group in various international marketing, sales and general management assignments in Europe and Asia. Educated in France, Mr. Mathieu holds an International Baccalaureate from the Lycee International and a master's degree in international marketing from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris.
Marie Quintero is director of Mergers and Acquisitions, responsible for overseeing all global acquisitions and divestiture activities for the Company. Ms. Quintero began her career at the Company in 1992 as a financial analyst for the Company's Latin America Financial Services Group. In 1993, she served as principal financial analyst for the Treasury division. In 1996, Ms. Quintero was promoted to manager of Corporate Business Development and, in 1999, she was promoted to executive assistant to the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Quintero worked in the audit group of Coopers & Lybrand. Ms. Quintero holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Georgetown University and a master's degree in business from the University of Virginia.
