WESTFIELD SHOPPINGTOWNS AND THE COCA-COLA COMPANY DEBUT COCA-COLA RED LOUNGES IN CHICAGO AND LOS ANGELES

Innovative Space Designed to Promote Youth Sharing and Discovery
Los Angeles, CA, December 11, 2003 - The Coca-Cola Company in concert with Westfield Corporation Inc., a global operator of shopping centers, announced today the premiere of Coca-Cola Red Lounges in two Westfield Shoppingtown properties. The first Coca-Cola Red Lounge opened at Westfield Hawthorne Shoppingtown in Vernon Hills, IL on December 6. The second lounge opens December 12 at Westfield Topanga Plaza in Los Angeles.

The youth-influenced Coca-Cola Red Lounges are experiential spaces where teens can hang out and learn about new music, movies and games. The Coca-Cola Red Lounge features custom-built furniture, a media wall with plasma screens, sound domes to focus the content, and glass-front vending machines stocked with Coca-Cola, Sprite, Dasani, Minute Maid juices, as well as numerous other Coca-Cola beverages.

"Westfield is constantly looking for innovative and relevant ways to enhance the shopping experience and research tells us that teens will be excited about this unique area designed especially for them," said Todd Putman, Executive VP Marketing for Westfield.
