CEDRIC BURGHER NAMED KBR SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CFO
2005 Press Releases FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 28, 2005 CEDRIC BURGHER NAMED KBR SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CFO HOUSTON – Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) announced today that Cedric Burgher, 45, has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of KBR, the engineering and construction subsidiary of Halliburton.  The appointment is effective November 7 and he will be based in KBR’s Houston office. Burgher will fill this new role as the company strengthens its position in pursuing a potential separation of KBR from Halliburton.  An initial public offering of KBR is being reviewed. “We are pleased to welcome Cedric back to the company,” said Cris Gaut, executive vice president and chief financial officer, Halliburton.  “As KBR’s CFO, Cedric will assist in positioning the company to maximize efficiencies and opportunities through its corporate strategy, financial structure and business initiatives.” Prior to joining KBR, Burgher, a 22-year finance veteran, was the chief financial officer at Burger King Corporation.  Before his association with Burger King, Burgher worked for Halliburton from 2001 to 2004, most recently as vice president and treasurer and previously as vice president of investor relations.  Burgher previously held financial management positions with Enron, EOG Resources and Baker Hughes.  His finance background includes eight years in banking, primarily leading corporate finance activities with Fortune 500 companies. Burgher received his bachelor of business administration from the University of Texas at Austin, his masters of business administration from the University of Dallas and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
