HALLIBURTON PLEDGES $350,000 TO MONTANA TECH

HOUSTON – Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) announced today that it has pledged to give $350,000 to Montana Tech, of the University of Montana System, to assist with the construction of a new Natural Resources Building. When completed in 2008, this new facility will expand the capacity of Montana Tech’s Petroleum Engineering Department to train engineers for the United States’ unconventional gas markets.

As this generation of employees begins retiring over the next several years, investment in the training and development of future energy and energy services workers is crucial.”
