HALLIBURTON 2000 FOURTH QUARTER TELECONFERENCE

DALLAS, Texas - Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL) plans to release its 2000 fourth quarter financial results Tuesday afternoon, January 30, 2001, at 3:00 PM Dallas time (Central Standard Time).

A press release concerning the earnings will be posted on the Halliburton web site and e-mailed or faxed to the investment community immediately following release through PR Newswire and First Call. Also, the release will be available on the Dow Jones newswire.

In anticipation of your interest, following issuance of the release we have scheduled a teleconference call for Tuesday afternoon, January 30, 2001, at 4:00 PM Central Standard Time, 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Halliburton management will discuss various aspects of the financial report and will be available to answer questions.

In addition, Halliburton's 2000 fourth quarter teleconference call will also be available over the Internet on a listen only basis.
