Nokia selected as the first 3G handset partner for Hong Kong CSL

The megapixel Nokia 6630 smartphone takes full advantage of CSL's high-speed 3G WCDMA network Helsinki, Finland - Nokia today announced that CSL has selected Nokia as their first 3G handset partner and have chosen the Nokia 6630 smartphone for their 3G WCDMA product portfolio. The Nokia 6630 phone offers online e-mail, capability to download and view e-mail attachments, mobile broadband access to multimedia content, live video streaming and video conferencing. "We congratulate CSL for their commercial 3G network launch and we are delighted to work as their first 3G handset partner. Based on Symbian OS, the Nokia 6630 phone is a tri-band handset designed to work on 3G (WCDMA), EDGE and 2G (GSM 900/1800/1900) networks around the world. Compared to current GSM networks, WCDMA enables ten times higher data speeds and better quality of service to mobile and portable wireless devices.
