Mobiles in France: Orange makes life easier for travellers by enriching Orange Travel and reducing its prices
The “Pass Vacances” holiday pass
Pass Vacances enables Orange customers to telephone for 20 minutes (10 minutes
outgoing calls + 10 minutes incoming calls) and send 10 SMS in zone Europe (1)
for € 6. This means savings of up to 48%.
The Pass, without obligations, is valid 7 days from when it is activated, in
32 countries, including overseas territories. The complete list of destinations
is available at the following address: www.orange.fr/travel.
Pass Vacances subscription can be completed by responding to the automatic SMS
customers receive when they cross a European border, or by calling the dedicated
service on 444 free call from France and abroad from an Orange mobile.
Internet when you travel
For customers using their portable computers to access Internet from abroad with
an Internet Everywhere package, 3 new features have been launched:
A 33% reduction in the price of connections in Europe, now billed at 6 cents per 10kb
Introduction of a warning message every €50 consumed
Update of “Pass mail and surf international” (€5 for 3Mb, €20 for 20Mb or €75
for 100Mb, valid for 7 days and without obligation.
“Room Service Europe”
Orange has though of customers who don’t necessarily speak the languages of the
countries they visit and has introduced a translation and concierge service (local
telephone enquiries, reservation of hotels, restaurants and taxis, interpretation,
etc.), which is available simply through the short number 244 (€1.34 inc. tax/min
after the first indivisible minute; available in Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom,
Ireland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
Orange Travel is the programme bringing together all of the group’s itinerant
mobile offers.
