-- James R. Stengel (53), global marketing officer, will retire effective
October 31, 2008, after 25 years of service. Until that time, effective
August 1, 2008, Mr. Stengel will work on special projects and the transition,
continuing to report to Robert A. McDonald, chief operating officer.
-- Marc S. Pritchard (48), currently president - strategy, productivity
and growth, has been elected global marketing officer, effective August 1,
2008, reporting to Robert A. McDonald.
