Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana, Inc.
(TMMI) recognized Team Members for their annual volunteer efforts in the community
by awarding grant checks to local not-for-profit organizations.
A total of 56 team members volunteered and logged 25 hours or more each from
this past year, allowing area not-for-profit organizations of their choice to
receive a total of $15,600 in grant money. New parameters for the program set
in 2004 helped increase the number of eligible team members from 30 in 2003
to 56 in 2004.
Among team members that qualified for the incentive program were the top 5
volunteers for 2004. The "Volunteer of the Year" program was designed
to recognize team members who are truly outstanding volunteers, and play an
important role in improving our communities.
Again, based on the number of volunteer hours logged, the top 4 volunteers were
able to direct $1,000 each to the not-for-profit organization of their choice.
The top volunteer was able to direct $3,000 to a chosen not-for-profit organization.
We are pleased to announce the results of the 2004 Volunteer of the Year program
and their selected organizations:
Ralph Boze Boy Scout Troop 358 $3,000 "Volunteer of the Year"
Rick Ball YMCA $1,000
Tim Frields Gibson Southern Band Boosters $1,000
