- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A, Inc. announced management promotions for its
Toyota and Lexus divisions.
The following executive assignments are effective
immediately:
Jon Bucci is appointed to vice president, TMS advanced technology.
Bucci will oversee strategic planning and implementation of electronics-related
products and services for Lexus, Toyota and Scion products. Bucci will continue
to report to Dave Danzer, group vice president, strategic and product planning.
Zack Hicks is appointed to vice president, administration. Hicks will oversee
administrative services including real estate and facilities, corporate procurement
and supplier diversity, workplace health and safety, associate services, business
continuity, and finance system strategies. Hicks will continue to report to Tracey
Doi, group vice president and chief financial officer.
Cheryl Hughes is
appointed to vice president, rewards, workforce and technology. Hughes will oversee
the design, implementation and administration of TMS’ compensation and benefits
programs. Hughes will continue to report to Miles B. King, group vice president,
human resources.
Mike Michels is appointed to vice president, communications.
Michels will oversee all Toyota, Lexus and Scion product news, business-media
relations, field public relations activities and new media communications efforts.
Michels will continue to report to Irv Miller, group vice president, corporate
communications.
Michael Rouse is appointed to vice president, philanthropy
and community affairs. Rouse will oversee corporate philanthropy, community relations,
internal publications, executive communications, department strategic and long-range
planning, and the Toyota Video Production Center. Rouse will continue to report
to Irv Miller, group vice president, corporate communications.
Tony Mueller,
currently on assignment at Toyota Motor China Investment Co., Ltd. (TMCI), is
appointed to TMS corporate manager. At TMCI, Mueller is vice president, field
operations, and reports to Sean Nozaki, executive vice president.
Jim Pisz
is appointed to corporate manager, advanced technology. He will oversee long-term
planning for electronics and telematics, and the implementation of next-generation
telematics. Pisz will continue to report to Jon Bucci, vice president, advanced
technology.
Gary Smith is appointed to corporate manager, service technology.
Smith will oversee product quality and service technology for all Toyota, Scion
and Lexus vehicles, parts and accessories. Smith will continue to report to Dave
Zellers, vice president, product quality and service support.
